VANITY from the French word Vaine Gloire=The hunt for recognition,success,wealth and generally the need for futile actions with superficial goals.An old greek saying about Vanity is "Ματαιότης Ματαιοτήτων Τα Πάντα Ματαιότης".Through my view of Vanity i have reached the conclusion that the absolute definition of things does not let us see their whole point.Every term consists of certain characteristics.This happens with Vanity as well,the main purpose of which is to see and interact only with the surface of the reality around us.Through my photographic journey i try to bring Vanity to a whole new level.Apart from what we just see Vanity can also exist in the way we communicate and express ourselves.We can create stories from things that exist all around us,that may seem simple if seen through the Vanity prespective.Bringing in the elements of passion and faith from Vanity,we can easily turn our everyday routine in a journey full of storytelling.This is my purpose and this is what this website is all about.Lets make our lives a photographic poem and blur the line between reality and imagination through pictures.Let the Vanity Stories Begin...!
